The planning code is kept under review in my Department to ensure that there continues to be adequate participation by public representatives in decision-making and policy formulation. Having regard to my immediate priorities on the legislation programme, I have no plans to introduce further planning legislative amendment at this time. The matter can be further considered in 2012.
