The climate policy review, which I issued on 3 November 2011, aims to provide the basis for a debate on future policy development in the light of existing and anticipated national greenhouse gas mitigation targets up to 2020. In that context and as set out in the reply to Questions Nos. 268, 269, 292, 294, 295, 257 and 258 of 2 November 2011 I am considering the value of carbon budgeting in the future.
