Question 609: To ask the Minister for Health the circumstances under which someone may be awarded a medical card due to exceptional and regular medical treatment or visits to the doctor even if they are above the income guidelines; if this is based on genuine medical need or the financial hardship this treatment causes; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
