As Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. Matters relating to tendering processes for painting and decorating works are day-to-day operational issues for Iarnród Éireann and I have no function in such matters.

Noting this I have referred the Deputy's question to Iarnród Éireann for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within 10 working days.
