I have been informed by the HSE that a comprehensive treatment plan has been formulated in relation to the care of the person in question. However, as the person concerned is abroad, the treatment plan cannot be implemented. The HSE has arranged that contact will be made with the person on her return to Ireland. Owing to data protection and patient confidentiality requirements, the HSE is not in a position to release details regarding the care of this patient until such time as they receive consent from the person concerned to such release.
