My Department is working in close co-operation with the National Parks and Wildlife Service of the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, which has responsibility for the commonage framework plans, on a review of the existing plans. I understand that a review of the situation in 4 counties will be completed by the end of 2011 (Mayo, Galway, Kerry and Donegal). I understand that the review of the remaining counties will be completed by the end of February 2012.
