The person named submitted an application under Category B which caters for farmers who commenced farming after 15 May 2009. In addition, applicants under this category are also required to meet certain criteria with regard to income limits and farming qualifications. An application from the person named was deemed ineligible as he commenced farming prior to the 15th May, 2009.
The person named appealed this decision and his case has been forwarded to the Independent Single Payments Appeals Committee who will carry out a full review of the case. The Independent Single Payments Appeals Committee will correspond directly with the person named following the outcome of their review.
