Monaghan County Council submitted proposals to my Department in December 2009 for the provision of a group home for people with physical and sensory disabilities at Drummond Otra, Carrickmacross. Provisional approval for the project issued in July 2010 subject to certain cost and design issues being addressed. My Department anticipates receiving revised proposals from the Council in the near future. Further progress is contingent on a successful outcome to the assessment process.
