The person concerned is in receipt of a fuel allowance at the weekly rate of €20.00. His application for an exceptional needs payment to cover the cost of fuel was refused on the basis that there was no exceptional need established in his case. He has been advised of his right to request a review of this decision and was given a form for this purpose.
