Question 113: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if a national programme of neutering and spaying of wildcats could be introduced in view of the fact that this would have a direct effect on reducing the wild population of cats; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The matter referred to in the question is an animal welfare issue and is therefore for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine. I have no function in relation to the matter raised.
