In the absence of any further details on the person's situation it is difficult to address the question in any specific manner. The Deputy will be aware that, in general, a non-EEA national wishing to work in Ireland is required to comply with the employment permit conditions as stipulated by the Department of Enterprise, Jobs and Innovation. Non-EEA nationals who wish to change their status should write to the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service, outlining the reasons to support their case.
