I refer the Deputy to my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 685 of 14 September 2011 which is set out below. The person referred to in that reply has registered with the Garda National Immigration Bureau. Regarding her daughter, a representative of INIS wrote to her legal representatives on 2 September 2011 to request further documentation. Upon receipt of the requested documentation, her case for residency in the State will be examined and a decision communicated to her in due course.

Reply to PQ 685 of 14 September 2011 I am advised by the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS) that the person referred to by the Deputy was granted permission to remain in the State on 15th March, 2005 under the revised arrangements for the non-EEA parents of children born in Ireland prior to 1st January, 2005, commonly known as the IBC/05 Scheme. This permission to remain was renewed in 2007. A decision to grant the person concerned further permission to remain in the State until 16th March, 2013 was conveyed in writing to the person concerned on 2nd September, 2011.
