Question 448: To ask the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the saving to the Exchequer if all existing public service pension payments to former employees of State agencies under the aegis of her Department were capped at €35,000 per year. [29775/11]

As all of the retired public servants from agencies under the aegis of my Department are in receipt of retirement pensions under €35,000 per annum, there would be no benefit to the Exchequer by capping these pensions at the rate suggested by the Deputy.
