Question 85: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if he will outline the organisations under his Department for which an employment control framework has been agreed; the current numbers they have in place; if they have been waiting more than one month to receive sanction to proceed to fill or retain any positions in spite of such positions falling below the agreed ECF ceiling. I propose to take Questions Nos. 84 and 85 together.
The only organisation under my Department which deals directly with the spending of public funds is the International Fund for Ireland. That organisation has not reported any difficulties to me concerning its ability to oversee public funds. There are no organisations under my Department for which an Employment Control Framework has been agreed.
