Question 128: To ask the Minister for Finance if his attention has been drawn to the fact that receipts for the student contribution being issued by third level colleges which refer to the €2,000 payment as a registration fee are not being accepted by the Revenue Commissioners for the purposes of claiming a tax rebate, thereby depriving families of the benefit of the reduced student contribution of €1,600 for second and subsequent children attending third level institutions; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
