Question 142: To ask the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation if he is satisfied that no additional resources are required by the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement to expedite the investigations currently underway in respect of certain matters at Anglo Irish Bank; if he has sought and received such an assurance in recent times; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The investigation into events at Anglo Irish Bank is the most complex that the Director of Corporate Enforcement has ever undertaken and accordingly he has been assured by my Department and the Department of Justice and Equality that extra resources will be made available for this investigation if requested by him. My Department has not received any request for resources beyond those additional resources already provided to that Office.
