Question 1048: To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the reason Dublin Bus refuses to release on- and off-peak passenger numbers to communities in their consultation processes when they are altering or ending bus routes; and his views on whether the public should have as much information as possible when being consulted about changes to public transport charges. The issues raised are a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) in conjunction with Dublin Bus. I have referred the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
