Decisions in relation to the appropriate treatment and prioritisation of patients for treatment are the responsibility of the relevant treating physician.
In this case, I understand that the patient in question was seen in the responsible consultant's clinic on the 26th June 2011. I also understand that the patient has been in contact with the hospital's patient advocacy department who are liaising with her.
