Question 445: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 189 of 19 April 2011 the reason a foreshore licence (details supplied) is still in the Office of the Chief State Solicitor in view of the fact that the challenge to the State's ownership has been withdrawn and the relevant authority informed of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This application was referred to the Chief State Solicitor's Office for legal advice following a challenge to the State's ownership of the foreshore concerned. On foot of a request for further information from that office, my Department has compiled the necessary response which is expected to issue in the coming days.
