Question 161: To ask the Minister for the Environment; Community and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 266 of 5 April 2011, if Cork County Council has submitted forms to him which were needed to process the Bandon wastewater treatment and sewerage scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Cork County Council submitted the Contract Documents for the sewerage network element of the Bandon Sewerage Scheme Phase 2 on 8 June 2011 and this documentation is currently under consideration in my Department. My Department is awaiting the submission by the Council of a revised brief for the appointment of Consultants to prepare a Preliminary Report for the upgrade of the wastewater treatment plant.
