Question 102: To ask the Minister for Finance further to Parliamentary Question No. 245 of 12 January 2011, if contact was made with an employer (details supplied), who has failed to obtain a refund of income tax paid notwithstanding that the taxable income in respect of the relevant year was in respect of income earned in the year previous to that asserted by the Revenue Commissioners; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that, as advised in our letter of 6 January 2011, contact was made with the employer in January 2011. However, the details necessary to carry out reviews have not yet been made available to Revenue. Contact has again been made, today, with the employer to obtain these details.
