Question 626: To ask the Minister for Health the number of private houses purchased by the his Department or the Health Service Executive as part of community care initiatives in Kilkenny city and county; the cost of this property purchase over the past five years; if all properties are in use; if not, the number of vacant properties and the cost of same; if such projects have been successful in the context of the support of the wider community; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has not purchased property in Kilkenny city and county in the past five years.
Management of the Health Service Executive property estate is a service matter. Therefore your question has been referred to the Executive for direct reply.
