Question 102: To ask the Minister for Finance his views on whether the licence for the National Lottery should again be made the subject of open competition, with the possibility of the licence being granted to a private operator. [10950/11]

The current licence to operate the National Lottery expires at the end of 2011. Arrangements for the future licensing are being considered and a decision on this will be taken following such consideration.
