Question 232: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if he has implemented a requirement that the Local Government Director of Audit publish an annual report covering all his functions, to be provided to the Oireachtas Committee on the environment; and the date on which the committee will receive the first report. In accordance with the recommendation in the report of the local government efficiency review group, the annual report of the director of audit of the local government audit service, covering local authority accounts for the year 2009, will be submitted to the Oireachtas Committee on the Environment, Community and Local Government as soon as possible.
