Question 370: To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the names of the special advisers appointed to his office since 9 March 2011; their specific role; and the level of salary they will be earning. [13396/11]

The names of the Special Advisers, their role and date of appointment is set out in Table 1. The appointments are in keeping with Department of Finance Guidelines on the staffing of Ministerial Offices. Table 1- Name, Role and Date of Appointment

Salary levels for Mr. Miller and Mr. Murphy are in accordance with rates approved by the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform.
