Question 135: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the type of assistance and the level of funding, if any, the Local Government Management Services Board provide each year to the Association of Municipal Authorities of Ireland, the Association of County and City Councils, the Local Authority Members Association and the County and City Managers Association; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Local Government Management Services Board (LGMSB) provides administrative, secretariat and research services to the County and City Managers' Association in the context of joint working of local authorities through the Office for Local Authority Management. No such assistance is provided to the Association of Municipal Authorities of Ireland, the Association of County and City Councils and the Local Authority Members Association.
No funding is provided by the LGMSB to any of the Association of Municipal Authorities of Ireland, the Association of County and City Councils, the Local Authority Members Association and the County and City Managers' Association.
