As the individual case raised by the Deputy is a service matter it has been referred to the HSE for direct reply.

My Department has been informed by the HSE that outpatient intravenous infusion services are used for a very wide range of conditions and treatments and the Executive does not routinely collect the data referred to by the Deputy. The HSE is not therefore in a position to provide the statistical information requested by the Deputy.
