I am informed by Waterways Ireland that a claim for compensation in the case referred to by the Deputy was received in March 2007. Negotiations have been held between Waterways Ireland and the individual's representatives regarding this matter. I am advised that, on receipt of an itemised claim, Waterways Ireland will deal with the matter expeditiously.
