Question 91: To ask the Minister for Health and Children in which hospitals or other medical centres paediatric and adolescent diabetes care is provided by the Health Service Executive; the number of patients under the age of 19 years who attend for diabetes care at each of these hospitals or centres; if he will indicate, for each hospital or centre, the counties in which each of these patients is resident; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Question 93: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if he will state, in respect of the hospitals or other medical centres at which paediatric and adolescent diabetes care is provided by the Health Service Executive, whether insulin pump technology is available to paediatric and adolescent patients at each of these centres; the number of paediatric patients who have been fitted with insulin pumps at each centre since 2005; the counties in which each of these patients are or were resident; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The information requested by the Deputy is not readily available in my Department. Therefore my Department has asked the Health Service Executive to supply the necessary information. I will respond to your enquiry as soon as this information becomes available.

Question 92: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if he will state, in respect of the hospitals or other medical centres at which paediatric and adolescent diabetes care is provided by the Health Service Executive, the number or whole-time-equivalent of paediatric endocrinologists, general paediatricians with an interest in diabetes, paediatric diabetes nurses specialists, diabetes nurses, dieticians, social workers and psychologists who are allocated to paediatric diabetes care in each of those hospitals or centres; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
