Question 63: To ask the Minister for Social Protection if she will reconsider her decision not to allow a person (details supplied) to participate in a community employment scheme given that neither FÁS nor the Department of Social Protection advised the person of entitlements to seek a place on a scheme prior to their job scheme payment ceasing and given the fact that a community employment place is available. As Minister for Social Protection I do not have a role in the administration of individual cases in regard to the operation of the Community Employment programme. The administration of individual cases under Community Employment is a day-to-day matter for FÁS as part of its responsibility under the Labour Services Act 1987 as amended by Part 3 of the Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2010.
