Question 437: To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be paid under a scheme. [3325/11]

The person named registered 62 beef breed calves in 2009 under the Suckler Welfare Scheme. Payment was issued to the person named in respect of 45 animals. Errors were established in case of the remaining animals during the validation process. The applicant has been informed in writing regarding these errors.

The person named registered 68 beef breed calves under the 2010 Suckler Welfare Scheme. 46 of these animals are validated for payment, which will issue shortly. The remaining calves have outstanding errors and a letter regarding same issued on 5 January 2011. Payments will issue on the remaining animals on an on-going basis upon resolution of the errors concerned.

Question 439: To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when the balance of area aid due a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny will issue. [3344/11]

An application under the 2010 Single Payment Scheme/Disadvantaged Area Scheme was received from the person named on 17 May 2010. The 50% advance payment under the Single Payment Scheme, which issued on 18 October, the further 30% payment under the same Scheme, which issued on 1 December, as well as the 75% advance payment under the Disadvantaged Area Scheme which issued on 21 September, were on the basis of those parcels cleared for payment at that stage, as a number of other land parcels listed on the application of the person named required re-digitisation. This process is now complete and the application is being processed, with a view to the further payments due issuing shortly.

An application under the 2010 Single Payment Scheme was received from the person named on 12 May 2010. The 80% Interim SPS Balancing Payment issued to the applicant on 8 December, on the basis of those parcels cleared for payment at that stage, as a number of other land parcels listed on the application of the person named required re-digitisation. This process is now complete and the application is being processed, with a view to the further payments due issuing shortly.
