Question 639: To ask the Minister for Social Protection if he will provide details of the cuts to the community employment schemes; the way in which this will affect the basic wage of CE scheme participants; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1069/11]

Community Employment participant wages grants were revised in line with the equivalent Social Welfare payment rates as follows:
Allowances

Each Child Dependant (Half Rate) | 14.90 | 14.90 |
There is a reduction of €8 in the rate for a Single participant and a reduction of €5.30 in the Qualified Adult allowance. There is no change to the Child Dependant rate.
