The Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences (IRCHSS) will issue a call for proposals under the Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme on 7th January 2011. The closing date for applications will be the 21st February 2011. While the number of awards is dependent on the outcome of the competitive assessment process, it is envisaged that awards will be maintained at a similar level to 2010, with funding commencing in Autumn 2011. A pre-announcement of the impending call has been placed on the IRCHSS website (www.irchss.ie).
