The planning process for commonage framework plans, which was a joint exercise by my Department and the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government began in the late 1990s and the plans were put in place in 2002. A review of certain commonages was carried out in 2008. This review process is under on-going review by both Departments. In the meantime, all existing plans continue to apply.
