Question 390: To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Innovation the number of businesses in Waterford City that have been approved for funding by Enterprise Ireland in each of the past three years and to date in 2010; the amount of funding involved; the number of jobs created by this funding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. For reasons of confidentiality, the Enterprise Ireland funding approvals for any county are not broken down by city and county. Approvals and payments to client companies for County Waterford for each of the past 3 years and to date in 2010 are set out in the tabular statement.
Job creation data in respect of companies supported by Enterprise Ireland is collated by Forfás on an annual basis and accordingly data is not yet available for 2010. Jobs gains for 2007, 2008 and 2009 in Enterprise Ireland supported companies are set out in the tabular statement.
