Question 560: To ask the Minister for Community, Equality and Gaeltacht Affairs his views on whether a problem arises because Section 7 of the Official Languages Act 2003 which requires that after the enactment of any Act of the Oireachtas the text thereof shall be printed and published in each of the official languages simultaneously and if he considers that an amendment to the Act would be appropriate at this stage in order that whichever version of an Act of the Oireachtas is available, is immediately accessible to the general public. I am aware of the issue referred to by the Deputy. While publication of Acts is a matter for the Oireachtas Commission, the issue is under consideration, in consultation with the Attorney General, to see how best it can be resolved.
