Question 221: To ask the Minister for Transport the value of the pension payment on an annualised basis to the highest paid public sector pensioner in each of the public bodies under the remit of his Department and all public service pensioners not paid by the Office of the Paymaster General; the number in receipt of this level of pension; and the total number in receipt of a pension in excess of €155,000 and in each bracket below this at intervals of €20,000. The value of the pension payment on an annualized basis to the highest paid public sector pensioner in bodies under the remit of my Department is €75,356, which is paid to 2 persons. There are no pensioners in any of the bodies under my Department's remit in receipt of an annualized pension in excess of €155,000. The breakdown of annualized pension payments below €155,000 paid directly by Department agencies is as follows:
