Question 189: To ask the Minister for Health and Children the value of the pension payment on an annualised basis to the highest paid public sector pensioner in each of the public bodies under the remit of her Department and all public service pensioners not paid by the Office of the Paymaster General; the number in receipt of this level of pension; the total number in receipt of a pension in excess of €155,000 and in each bracket below this at intervals of €20,000. As this is a service matter, it has been referred to the HSE for attention and direct reply to the Deputy. My Department is also writing to the relevant non-commercial state sponsored bodies to ask that they provide a response in relation to their organisation. This material will then be compiled by my Department and forwarded to the Deputy, as soon as it is available.
