The information requested by the Deputy is not readily available within my Department. I can, however, provide the Deputy with data in relation to approvals and refusals for all claims made by customers in the Social Welfare Local and Branch Offices in county Mayo. I have attached a table which breaks down the approvals and refusals by scheme type. I am unable to provide a detailed breakdown of reasons for refusals.
