Question 402: To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food the number of EU directives awaiting transposition into law in his Department; the reasons for the delays; and the reaction of the EU Commission in each case to such delays. [34927/10]

The 20 directives to be transposed into national law for which my Department has responsibility are set out in the attached schedule. None are overdue for transposition. I intend to have the directives implemented by the due date in each case.
