Question 300: To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs, further to the Hutchinson report into the Claudy bombing, if he will confirm if the Irish Government or the authorities here ever received any direct or indirect representations or proposals from the then British Secretary of State for Northern Ireland or the Cardinal Primate of All Ireland to transfer a person (details supplied) into the jurisdiction of the State; if so, the terms of the proposal; the response given by the Irish Government to any proposal; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
