Question 1629: To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in respect of any State owned enterprise under the aegis of his Department, when they received the most recent annual report of that company; the date on which the Department approved the annual report; and to provide the same information for the previous financial year; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There are currently 12 State Bodies which come under the aegis of my Department and in most cases there is no requirement under legislation for Ministerial approval of the Annual Reports but there is a requirement to lay such Reports before both Houses of the Oireachtas except in the case of the Veterinary Council of Ireland.
The information requested by the Deputy is laid out in the table below. Where Ministerial approval is not required the date of laying the Reports before both Houses of the Oireachtas is also provided in the table below.
