Question 495: To ask the Minister for Finance if he will report on the Office of Public Works security contract at a centre (details supplied) in Dublin 17; if the procurement contract was rolled over; the reason there has been no tender for several years; if it is part of a bundle of contracts; the reason local community owned security resources are not permitted to tender; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Office of Public Works does not have a direct contract for security in the centre. It has a facility management contract for the centre and this includes the provision of security and other services. HOCHTIEF Facility Management Ireland Ltd currently has the contract for the facility management.
