In April of this year, the Office of Public Works chaired the first meeting of the Working Group tasked with developing a structured and coherent approach to the further management and development of the former Irish ISPAT site in Haulbowline. The members of this group comprises, in the first instance, representatives from the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government, the Department of Defence, the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and the Department of Finance. The Working Group is currently in session and it is envisaged that a report will be ready for Government before year end.
