All outsourced printing contracts are awarded by the Department following competitive processes which are carried out strictly in accordance with Government procurement guidelines and in line with the relevant EU procurement policies. All current print contracts are placed with companies based in Ireland. In addition, a number of Departmental forms and reports are printed using the Department's internal printing facilities. ^^ Departmental Properties ^^

The Department of Defence disposed of its lands at Fort Camden, Crosshaven, County Cork in 2007 to Cork County Council. The Department has had no further involvement with the property since that time.
