Question 296: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Education and Skills further to Parliamentary Question No. 231 of 13 May 2010 and no. 218 of 3 June 2010 regarding a person (details supplied) in Dublin 9, if she will provide the necessary services in the short term and in the long-term and specifically if she will approve her application under the July provision; if she will increase the number of daily hours of home tuition; and if she will outline long-term services for this child who has become difficult and urgently needs services to return a structure to their life. I am pleased to advise the Deputy that the child in question qualifies to have her allocation of home tuition extended into July. As previously advised, a Senior Special Education Needs Organiser is liaising with the parent of the child in question in the context of future placement options.
