Question 184: To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs the number of unprompted voluntary disclosures made by his Department to the Revenue Commissioners in the years 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and to date in 2010 under the headings employer issues PAYE and PRSI, value added tax, public service withholding tax and relevant contracts tax; if, in regard to these unprompted voluntary disclosures, he will provide a summary of the tax, interest and penalties collected; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has made no settlements with regard to Section 985B of the Taxes Consolidation Act, 1997 during the period in question.

Question 186: To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will provide details of tax audits carried out by the Revenue Commissioners on his Department in the years 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and to date in 2010 under the headings employer issues PAYE and PRSI, value added tax, public service withholding tax and relevant contracts tax; if, in relation to the audits, he will provide an analysis of the results, including the amount of tax, interest and penalties assessed and collected; the number of audits in which incorrect operation was discovered but no assessment was entered; the number of audits in which operation was found in order; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
