As I indicated on the 9th of June 2010 during statements on the Report of the Commission to Inquire in to Child Abuse, 2009 Implementation Plan in order to ensure the momentum of progress, I chair a high level group consisting of senior representatives from the relevant Departments and agencies to monitor the implementation of the actions specified in the Plan. This group has met twice to date and is currently finalising its first report on progress as required under the Plan. Once finalised, I intend to lay this progress report before both Houses. I will do this annually over the lifetime of the Plan.
