A project for the school referred to by the Deputy is currently at an advanced stage of architectural planning. The project has been assigned a priority band rating of 2.4 under the published prioritisation criteria for large scale building projects.
This project was included in my predecessor's announcement on 16 February 2010 of projects to proceed to the preparation of tender documents. A delegation from the school and its design team attended a briefing by my Department on the completion of Stage 2(b) of architectural planning and the school has indicated that it expects to submit the Stage 2(b) documentation to my Department in October 2010.
