A person must satisfy a number of conditions to qualify for a social welfare payment where their employment is reduced to a three day week. The circumstances in which the days of employment were reduced are also taken into account.

The person concerned should contact her local social welfare office to establish if she would qualify for jobseeker's benefit, jobseeker's allowance or family income supplement in the event that her employment is reduced to a three day week.
